How often do I get my clients a month and how?

I have a business and I'm trying something new this month. I go to market directly to existing customers with special coupons, direct e-mail (for questions and answers) and send the client side compinsation about 3 times or more per customer per month. Will this work, and what other way I can produce more capital gains?

Three times a month seems too much, will start to get angry. That's 36 times a year too, will begin to see and just close it, or worse still putting it through a spam filter as spam. If you do, do it the smart way. Sure to ask them if they would like to sign up for free e-coupons, never assume that just because they want their customers automatically, and you do not want to go to be a nuisance or going to find someone who is not. So I suggest doing it once a month. This is not only easier for its customers, and makes it more likely to provide attention to each one, but it is also easier for you and send the draft.

Can you help me brainstorm ideas for an ad for a local cafe?

I am an ad designer for direct mail advertising coupons and I have to design an ad for a locally owned breakfast cafe. I already have a photo of their family and a breakfast platter to be included in the ad but I want to put something faded into the background that is quaint and cute, but plain so it doesn't get too messy. Any ideas of a certain style of background that would look good on this type of ad?
No reason to get defensive please, I have been doing this for over 3 years and have developed some unique ideas in the past but even a great artist gets blocked sometimes! I am looking to get opinions from the public masses who would be looking at an ad like this.
