Can you help me understand the 'economics of a Conference?
I'm making models of the economy in a conference and need some key numbers (ideally from the organizers of the conference among you). For a "typical" conference: Number of attendees Admission% of the attendees came last year the total budget of the conference (the closer to $ 100k) Split of expenditure (in terms%) on; Place (rentals and installations) Services (registration, security, signage, food, etc) Marketing (direct mail, advertising, etc to gain the audience) Thank you.
